HÖRMA –
THAT'S US
Jannes & Matthias, just two guys following their impulse to not only expand the boundaries of musical composition, but break them. What started in 2017 as a quirky hobby culminated in our modular composition network, which became the protagonist of our masters degree.
We set out to craft a unique musical instrument that unites music theory with the collective desire to play and experiment. Enter Hörma_eins, our anti-quantization sequencer, which managed to mingle seamlessly in MIDI networks and break rhythmic norms at the same time.
After many additional prototypes, we reached our current destination: the NODES system – a playground for your most childish ideas or a laboratory to conduct your musical experiments. In other words: the ideal interface to shape your music unequivocally and without limits.
That's the magic of NODES – connecting individual modules into a symphony of parametric music. But our modules aren't just plain technical instruments – we wanted them to be aesthetically pleasing to encourage or reignite playfulness in music.
We are excited for you to join the NODES journey.
Cheers, Jannes & Matthias
